Job Description
Ingenico ePayments is on the lookout for highly motivated Business Development Managers, who will make a significant contribution to our growth strategy.

Purpose of the role

This role is a New Business Sales Role. Be advised that we are only considering candidates with a certain amount of experience in payments/cards.

To proactively approach, negotiate with, contract, and service clients in the e-commerce space. & Territory includes Central/South America and the Caribbean. Our company services all sectors of e-commerce except adult. Our Business Development professionals have tremendous responsibility covering all aspects of the client relationship.

Deliverables / Tasks
  • Work independently in a fast-paced start up type environment
  • Agree on the governance model between the BD team, the region GM’s and the Vertical Market Directors
  • Manage the team of BDM
  • Build a strong and healthy pipeline of business with our partners
  • Delight our client experience in all you do!
  • Lead opportunities through a business development process successfully with a rapid change cycle
  • Contacting prospects via phone, e-mail, personal-, and business networks
  • Consistently delivering Revenue towards the targets that are set by sales management
  • Sell Ingenico ePayments services within assigned vertical markets in the territory
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms
  • Forecasting to sales management
  • Build out and maintain a highly accurate CRM tool (Salesforce.com)
  • Represent Ingenico ePayments at selected industry events
  • Advise management on developments within e-commerce, the region, and the & vertical market

Experience
  • 5+ years proven New Business Sales track record in a target-driven B2B sales role
  • B2B consultative sales experience is required
  • Experience in a multicultural business environment and/or international sales role
  • Exposure to, or familiarity with technological and financial concepts
  • Sector experience in a key Ingenico ePayments vertical market is a plus

Other significant role requirements
  • Regarding the English and Portuguese language: Strong& verbal and written language skills – additional language skills a plus, especially Spanish
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Location, Sao Paulo, Brazil

Technical Knowledge
  • Comfortable with Excel and the use of CRM tools
  • As this is a sale of a technology/financial services product, and as such, candidates are expected to be conversant in payment technology
